Burtles Tate & Co 1858 – 1924

This Manchester glass company operated from the Poland Street Glass Workshop, Oldham Road. The firm was founded in 1858 but went into liquidation in 1924 when it was taken over by Butterworth Bros of Manchester. It made a lot of glass novelties which are very collectable.
